Acclaimed Children’s author Donna Vann stayed at Sea View Cottage for a few days self catering UK in September 2020. Maybe she was doing research for an upcoming book? Portland could certainly have inspired her – shipwrecks, war, quarrying, old railways, spies – it’s had the lot over the years and children love learning about it. Her visit made us realise that our library is a bit light on children’s books. Where better to start than buying a few of Donna Vann’s books? We love doing reciprocal business!
