Post Lockdown

Like all UK beachfront cottages, Sea View Cottage was closed for business during lockdown. But we were up and running again, albeit a bit later than most, from 27th July 2020. During lockdown, to comply with new UK Government Regulations we completely rethought our approach to cleaning. We’ve also taken various steps to minimise the spread of coronavirus. One of the things we’ve done is to put our cottage guide book online via Touch Stay. So guests can now access it on their own devices wherever they are – at their home, in the cottage, and whilst out and about.

We still provide our hard copy guidebook although we discourage guests from using it. And the online version is much more than a guide to our beachfront cottages. It’s also a guide to where to go and what to do on Portland and beyond! The images above and below give some idea of what to expect (although they’ll look slightly different when displayed on a mobile device). We’re currently providing guests with a link to the guide book 10 days before their check-in date. It’ll quickly get them up to speed with where they’re going. We think it’s a great (virtual) addition to the cottage!
