Wow! That’s up from 8.3 in 2021 and 8.5 in 2022. And all thanks to Booking.com guests who’ve reviewed us and said what they like and don’t like. And we’ve listened! We might not have done everything they’ve suggested. But we’ve done an awful lot of it!

We’re very grateful. But much as we love Booking.com, remember it’s always cheaper to book direct with us. That’s because we don’t have to pay Booking.com commission. And guests get exactly the same cottage and the same level of  service. And it’s so easy to book direct – just visit our booking page, check out booking calendar to check availability and price, then book and pay on-line. For direct bookings we ask for 50% of the cost when booking and the balance 30 days prior to your check-in date. And you can cancel for free up to 5 days prior to your check-in date!
